Ireland Part 3

The third and final part of my epic journey through Ireland.
Part 1 Part 2

Quiet Harbour
A harbour in west Gallway. An extremely quiet little town with a Nova Scotia feel to it.

Stone Walls
Back when land lots were divided up by squares, farmers built stone walls to section off plots.

Mossy Shoe
There were a bunch of these at the Rauthburn Sheep Farm. Pretty cool use of an old shoe.

Secret Garden
A little garden hidden behind the cottage, even in october its still pretty green.

Thatched Cottage
A century's old roofing technique. The Rothsburn family has had this cottage for generations and have kept it pretty much the same.

Winding Roads
A view of the twisting mountain roads between Ballyvaghan and Lisdoonvarna, where the Matchmaker Festival has been held for generations.

Cliffs of Moher
One of the most iconic Irish landmarks, complete with a tower at the tip.

Lighthouse
Riding the Kilrush Ferry from Killimer Harbour to Tarburt Island.

Pink Rose
At the Tralee Town Park. Its kind of like The Niagara Botanical Gardens here but a lot more roses.

Rose of Tralee
A statue of Mary O'Connor, the original Rose of Tralee, and subject of William Pembroke Mulchinok's    Ballad.

Orange Rose

Tie Dye 2

Ancient Fortress
The remains of Ross Castle in Killarney National Park, on the banks of Lough Leane.

Quiet Dock
A bunch of row boats near Castle Ross, just waiting to to taken around the lake.

Blarney Castle
Home of the famous Blarney stone. Made it to the top and kissed it. Not sure if the magic kicked in yet.
