Old School

Found one of my old high school pieces under a bunch of stuff.  I used an old film SLR older than me yet still functional. Mixing exposure times in the dark room gave this more of a dream scape feel instead of the normal boring continuity of perfect timing.

Industry and Nature

A couple photos I took awhile back in Vineland.
-Nex

One Way
Railroad tracks by my old house. Follow the tracks and they take you to the tressel.

Raindrops
Taken right after the first summer rain. The original all green looks good, but I find this splash of colour to be a lot more interesting.

The Lost and Rusted

The old train tressel in Jordan is full of weird things.. In very odd spots..
-Nex

Rusted Shut
A combo lock rusted onto a metal loop 70' up the bridge. On the very edge. Possibly the most dangerous photo I've taken with one hand..

Solid Combo
A side view of the rusted lock. You can almost see how high up I am.

The Lost
A single child's shoe under the bridge surrounded by broken toys and random objects...

Update Time :)

Been super busy, but I found time to post some new stuff. Hopefully I'll be back to nightly posts soon.

Unused Dials- Inside some old farm boat I found. Not sure how long its been there..
Full Size

Ship Wreck- A different angle of the interior. Looks like some animal was living in it. Might still run though, who knows..

Dead End-Beside the old bridge is a path down.. which leads to this. Just an over grown wall.. Surprisingly hard to climb up though..

Old Stuff

I like old things. They have a different energy than new items. Character and life in each thing.

Tools
Some old farm equipment that never moved this spot in the 6 years I lived here.

The Old Window
A window in the barn behind my house, all ways looked creepy at night.

Plastic Webs
This is what happens when people don't take care of their stuff. It was once a greenhouse.

Some from the Tressel

Went for a walk down the track and over the Jordan Harbor Tressel. Took a bunch of photos, so here is a preview.

Jump: One of the more dangerous spots I've been, but I think its worth it.
Lone Pillar: Part of the original tressel, there's a way under it but who knows whats down there...

Some Nature

Springs here, so here's some greenery for you all.

Rock Water: Up in Balls Falls the river has a few spots where it goes underground and comes out in spots like this. You can fit two people under the left side easily.
Cherry Leaves: Outside my old house after it rained. My first digital camera :)

A little Black and White

Some B&W shots I found while sorting through my photos.
-Nex
The Shed: A weird little shack at my old house... filled with old tires, broken bikes, a sink and wood stove..
Ship Wreck: In the Jordan Harbor there was a pirate ship, then someone set it on fire and this is whats left.
Phoenix: One of my cats enjoying the first snowfall of winter.

Its all about location.

Sometimes the difference between a good photo and an interesting one can be a few hours of shifted daylight. You don't need an amazing camera (Though it helps). Just look for a spot that you think could be cool, and wait it out. You might luck out and catch something awesome.

Unsafe Passage- This was the bridge that separates a resort in the Dominican, and the mountains/don't go here unless you want to die area.
Sunset- A Fall sunset in my old backyard in Vineland.
